Known for her whimsical, eclectic style of illustration, Kayse will delight your senses with color, design and imagination. Born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington she had the world of inspiration and beauty right at her back door. Five miles from the foothills of the Blue Mountains, she had a passion for horse riding, raised 25 head of prime beef cattle, had eight lambs and a mean, banty rooster. Nature was her life-line as was her love of art. Her earliest memory was with pencil and paper, moving on to paint and anything she could paint on. Self-taught, with the exception of two years studying at Washington State University, she made her way to San Francisco, raised a beautiful daughter and later moved to New York City.

Her artistic ventures took a number of twists and turns over the years and even in dormant periods, she would rekindle her joy of creating simply for friends, family and by chance, the complete stranger.

She continues her love of painting and illustrating, residing now in Girona, Spain with her husband Normie and dog, Lilypoo. She is also the proud Grandma of three, very handsome grandsons!
